About Coach

I was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, and then moved to Kansas City, Missouri before finally settling in Flower Mound, Texas in 2001. He attended Marcus High School where he played football and soccer. Following high school, he attended Oklahoma State University; where he earned a spot on the Cowboy’s football team as a walk-on wide receiver. He also received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science while at OSU as well. After graduating college he completed an internship and externship at Michael Johnson Performance. Brendan also worked as a physical therapy tech before accepting a full-time coaching position at Michael Johnson Performance from 2015 to 2018. His role at MJP was leading the summer strength and conditioning program for Frisco Lebanon Trail High School and also the “Michael Johnson’s Young Leaders” global charity group. He also assisted with their NFL Combine and Pro-Day training all while coaching their elementary, middle, and high school performance programs. These programs included speed, agility, plyometric, and strength training. Brendan now leads multiple classes and programs at K27 Performance!

Turning Point

Motivation & Passion

My purpose in coaching is to help athletes understand and utilize their full potential in sports and how that can be carried over into other aspects of life. Being the type of coach that I never had growing up is a big motivator for me. Having someone that will take the time with you and be patient with you while you learn a new skill is crucial in development.
